Thrive Together Movement

Thrive Together Movement is a Virtual Fitness Studio that helps women and femmes discover body freedom through our signature workout programs, mindfulness coaching, and body inclusive community.

Thrive Together Movement is on a mission to transform strength training into a catalyst for self compassion and to create a space where all bodies are honored and celebrated

All people, every BODY

We Know That

All bodies have the right to move in ways that make them feel strong, mobile, and powerful.

Social justice belongs in health and wellness.

Fitness and athleticism does not have one ‘look.’

Health looks different on everyone, and is not a requirement for respect or worthiness.

Hi, I’m Coach Meg

I am a weight-inclusive certified personal trainer and body freedom coach. I did NOT always have a good relationship with exercise. It was a way for me to compensate for so-called ‘bad’ eating and behaviors. However, when I suffered from PTSD after being assaulted it was the only thing that helped me regain control over my body.

I created Thrive Together Movement because I saw a need for weight-neutral, non-judgmental, trauma-informed, trans-affirming spaces in fitness. I am a self love advocate, Health at Every Size (HAES) provider and body liberation/fat positive ally. It’s all thanks to the clients and friends I’ve had the honor to train along the way.

My Certifications: personal training (ACE), trauma-informed (MFT1), Kettlebell Certified (RKC), DVRT Certified, Pre/Postnatal Certified (PROnatal), Original Strength Certified (OS) and nutrition coaching certified (PN1).

Meg is the first trainer that made me feel like I want to work out because it makes me happy, because I love to feel strong, and because it feels good. No guilt, no body-shaming. I love training with Meg and being a part of this because it’s about focusing on what you love about yourself and connecting with others with the mission of adding more joyful movement and physical/mental wellness to our lives!

Meg has been wonderful. I used to dabble in different kinds of workouts from heavy weight lifting to boot camp style. However, a severe elbow injury years ago has left me very unsure and negative about my fitness routine. Meg came in and has focused on total body exercise routines, is always cognizant of the elbow, and willing to adapt the routine to maximize gains without overdoing it or potential to cause harm on the arm. She’s got a great energy. too. Love working with her.

I reached out to Meg when I was in the process of “sweating for the wedding” and planned to only train until my wedding was over. I remember having the worst social anxiety going to meet her and regretting every second of it. Once we started training immediately all of those feelings faded. She made me (someone who was NOT great at working out) feel comfortable, confident, and strong. Everything was catered to my needs and she was also able to tell if I was actually fatigued (or procrastinating) or if I could do more work.

Before working with Meg I had “traditional” views on working out and dieting. As we got more comfortable she brought up intuitive eating and helped me see the fitness industry through very different eyes. Meg helped not only me, but also my friends change views on why we should work out but also on how unhappy the diet industry makes people.

My wedding came and went almost 2 years ago and I still train weekly and take classes with Meg. I have never felt stronger or more comfortable in my own body and more capable of advocating for others. Hop on the Meg train and train with Meg y’all!
